1. Who we are

Orbrya offers an AI critical thinking curriculum for students in grades 6 through 12. We are currently in a pre-launch waitlist phase. For questions about this policy, contact us at hello@orbrya.com.

2. What we collect and why

When you join the Orbrya waitlist, we collect your email address. We use it to send you our newsletter, which includes blog posts, videos, and updates about Orbrya as we build toward launch. Waitlist subscribers also receive founding-family pricing at launch.

We do not collect names unless you provide one voluntarily. We do not collect payment information at this stage. We do not require you to create an account to join the waitlist.

When you visit the Orbrya website, our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server log data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used for security and performance purposes and is governed by Vercel's Privacy Policy.

3. Email service provider

We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to manage our email list and send newsletters. When you subscribe, your email address is stored in Kit's systems. Kit acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by their own privacy and security commitments. You can review Kit's Privacy Policy here.

We do not use your email address for any purpose other than sending Orbrya communications. We do not share, sell, or rent your email address to any third party.

4. Children's privacy

Orbrya is a curriculum for students ages 11 to 18, but our website and waitlist are directed at parents, guardians, and educators, not at students directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has submitted their email address through our waitlist form, please contact us at hello@orbrya.com and we will remove it promptly.

5. Cookies and tracking

Orbrya does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics at this time. We do not run retargeting ads or build behavioral profiles from your visit. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and notify our subscribers.

6. How to unsubscribe or delete your data

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it will remove you from our list immediately.

If you want your email address deleted entirely rather than simply unsubscribed, email us at hello@orbrya.com with the subject line "Delete my data" and we will remove your record from Kit within 5 business days and confirm when it is done.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Orbrya grows and our data practices evolve. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we will notify subscribers via email.
